Generator SCR

Generator SCR systems
Diesel generators are widely used to provide back-up power in the event of mains failure, whilst generators running on gas are often relied on to supply combined heat and power (CHP).
Both diesel and gas generators emit NOx, and the best technology to reduce this is known as SCR, which stands for ‘Selective Catalytic Reduction’.
NOx emissions from generators are becoming increasingly regulated, in Europe by the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) and in the UK by the Specified Generator Regulations.
Blackthorn can design and supply SCR systems to reduce NOx from generators of all sizes, whether running on diesel, natural gas or biogas.
